The bull ropes shown in this display all belonged to the Frost family. From left to right, Joe Frost, Shane Frost and Lane Frost. The rope on the far right is an old grass rope, possibly from the 50’s or early 60’s. No other information on it.
Lanes rope was made in like 1983, Joe’s dads (Shane) was made around 1996, and Joe built his in 2014 and qualified for the WNFR using it and rode with it at the 2014 and 2015 WNFR. Jim Ward built Shane and Lanes ropes. Thanks to Joe Frost for donating this great collection of rodeo equipment history to start off the bull riding segment.
